Basic instructions:
Each Petition must have signatures of registered voters from ONLY ONE COUNTY.
So, fill in the county at the top of the petition (where the blanks are) and
make sure the folks that sign that petition are registered to vote in THAT
county. Each petition MUST be double-sided (one sheet of paper). So, the front
side of the paper would have the signatures and declaration and the back side
will have a copy of the bill.
After you collect ALL the signatures you can for a county, they are ready to
be filed. All petitions MUST be filed in each county at the same time. In
another words, all Sacramento County petitions have to be filed in one batch,
together. All San Francisco County petitions have to be filed in one batch. So,
we have county coordinators. All petitions must be mailed to the county
coordinators.

This is where you send all the petition sheets for a particular county, AND they
must be received by Tuesday, January 3
You MUST be a registered voter in California or qualified to register to vote
in California in order to circulate a petition (circulate means you make copies
of the petition and ask people to sign it). Make sure signers PRINT their name
on the top line and SIGN on the line below. Make sure YOU fill out and
sign the declaration at the bottom. Thank you!
