Sacramento, SB 861 Referendum Effort
Today we canvassed the ARDEN area for signatures for a
referendum against SB 861.

A couple of dog lovers we encountered during our brief time at
Arden Fair Mall before a handful of security guards ordered us to leave:
Below, a dog lover on his way into Petco stops to say hello. Unlike Petsmart
(see below),
Petco didn't mind us informing its customers about the new dog law that will go
into effect.
Many of the Petco employees even came outside, signed the petition, and gave
Savvy treats.
Petsmart November 6, 2005:
Two fans we managed to woo the attention of with the dog (it was hard
considering
the unreasonable requirement that we stay within an 8x8 yellow box painted on
the cement).
