This article contains statistics showing that although Pit Bulls or the
amorphous Pit Bull mixes comprise 33% of dogs in San Francisco but account for
only about 1/4 of the dog bites in San Francisco. It doesn't take a genius to
figure out those numbers mean Pit Bulls (and their amorphous, alleged mixes)
are statistically less likely to bite than other breeds.
