A
TWO-YEAR-OLD girl has been bitten on the ear and head by a long-haired
labrador after she took away his bone on a country property in
Victoria's north.
The girl was bitten about
5.15pm (AEDT) at a Black Creek Road property in Yackandandah, Rural
Ambulance spokesman John Mullen said.
"She had been playing with the dog all day long without any worries," Mr Mullen said.
"But then she took his bone."
The girl received an ear bite and lacerations to the side of her head, requiring stitches.
She was transported to the Albury Hospital in a stable condition.
"She's in good spirits now," Mr Mullen said.
"She got a fright more than anything."
