Hi Dawn,

I have reduced the image file size to 158k and I am getting a message saying that I have exceeded the maximum allowable size for attatchments. What is the max size for an image?

Is there any way to raise that. My Camera uses 6.2 megapixel resolution. Even reducing the quality to minimal size a lowest quality (which is quite poor I might add) and that is 75 x 56 pixels in size still comes out to 154k in size. If this value is settable I would reccomend about 200k. This will allow good high quality images scaled perhaps to a smaller size.

I have 7.1 megapixel camera. Most programs allow you to "save for web," which brings it down below 20K a lot of the time. The problem with raising the limit means space / bandwidth limits will be approached quickly. Purebredpuppy, another forum, has a maximum attachment size of 45K. Pitbullforum doesn't even allow attachments, so folks have to do it by putting an img link in the text.

What program are you using?

I was finally able to put somethin up. I had to reduce the image size to 160x121, but maintained maximum quality. total size cam about to about 56k. Probably could make it a bit bigger but not by much. :)

Ruggy is on the left Clay is on the right with the cute smile in the Photo forum.

Thanks! Does the program you use let you tinker with resolution? I appreciate your support of the forum and helping me work out the bugs!

I ended up using another program at work called PhotoFiltre. It had many more options available than the camera software. I think it may also be a free download.

Standard image size is 8*12. Now a days it is out of fashion we can make a image as we like but we keep pay attention that image should be neet and clean.
