I'd be weary of a product that claims to kill ALL canine worms. I would suggest using the tablets you received from your veterinarian and work on ways of making it more palatable.
You can try:
- mixing it with cottage cheese, regular cheese, peanut butter or yogurt.
- mixing it with ground chicken
- breaking it into smaller pieces and mixing it in with Elvis' food.
If push comes to shove, you may have to pill Elvis. I would suggest contacting your veterinarian, if you feel uncomfortable pilling a dog.
As to where the worms came from - it is certainly possible he got them from other animals. The larva of most worms are spread primarily through feces.
